VVF Drum Camp 2026 is a 6-days structured, beginner-focused drum education program designed for students with little to no prior musical experience.

Dates (SAT - SUN):

1. March 14–15
2. March 21–22
3. March 28–29

Total Duration:

1. 6 instructional days
2. 12 total hours of guided instruction

This format allows students time to practice between sessions, reinforce learning gradually, and avoid weekday scheduling conflicts.

Class Schedule:

1. Kids Group (Ages 6–12):
2. 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
3. Teens & Adults (Age 12+):
4. 1:40 PM – 3:40 PM

Each session is 2 hours in length.

Students learn using professional-grade drum kits in a dedicated teaching space.

No prior drumming or music experience is required.

Curriculum & Learning Outcomes

The curriculum is designed specifically for beginners and focuses on building confidence and musical understanding step by step.

Students will learn:

1. Drum kit setup, posture, and stick control
2. Rhythm fundamentals and timing
3. Basic grooves and coordination
4. Introduction to fills and transitions
5. Playing along with real songs
6. Group playing and musical awareness

By the end of the program, students will be able to:

1. Maintain steady rhythm
2. Play multiple full songs at a basic level
3. Understand how to practice independently and progress further

Tuition & Program Value

Tuition: $300 CAD (full program)

This tuition covers:

1. All 6 instructional days
2. 12 total hours of professional instruction

The revised weekend format provides 2 additional instructional hours compared to previous camps, at no additional cost, reflecting the program’s focus on accessibility and educational value.

Scholarships & Community Support

Through the partnership with Viet Vibe Foundation, eligible VVF members and volunteers may apply for the Inspire Scholarship, which provides full tuition support ($300) for Drum Camp.

In addition, 10% of all Drum Camp tuition is donated to support future community music programs.

Attendance Policy

1. Drum Camp follows a fixed schedule and is conducted in a group setting
2. Make-up sessions are not available for missed classes
3. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions

Eattle Nguyen

1. 8+ years of performance experience
2. 3+ years of teaching experience
3. Taught over 50 students across multiple age groups
4. Performed at over 100 events, including large-scale venues such as BC Place
5. Former CMO and founding member of Viet Vibe Foundation

Media Consent & Usage

By registering for VVF Drum Camp 2026, participants (or their parent/guardian, if under 18) acknowledge and consent to the use of photos, videos, and recordings taken during the program for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes by Viet Vibe Foundation and the program instructor.

These materials may be used across platforms including, but not limited to:

– Social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

– Website and promotional materials

– Future program advertisements and community outreach

If a participant does not wish to be included in photos or videos, they must inform the instructor in advance or at the start of the program, and we will fully respect and accommodate this request.
